The nation’s leaders as well as teachers
Practice lies as a way of life
So think before you speak
Cause what you sow you reap
The truth will always be brought to light

Yo, illustrious leaders of the Democrap Party? Our nominee wears no clothes. Again.
For Sen. Obama, flip-flops don’t just come in threes. They come in sixes and sevens. Luckily for Mr. McCain, they also come in a matter of weeks, hurtling down faster than bodies jumping off the Titanic.
You have to give Mr. Obama credit for having a quick learning curve; it took years and years for Mrs. Clinton and Mr. McCain’s positions to “evolve.” Who else but the precocious junior Senator from Illinois could spend his entire national career in politics running for President, take three sides on every issue before switching to a fourth, and still run tied in ‘da poles.’ That’s some seriously impressive sh*t.
Since 2002, Mr. Obama has supposedly railed against the Iraq war — contrasting his superior judgment with those who believed Sec. Powell and Pres. Bush when they promised a vote to authorize use of force if Saddam Hussein obstructed weapons inspectors was just so much saber rattling and not a blank check for war. Since 2005, when Barack Hussein finally had a vote and chance to really oppose the war, he flipped and voted to continue the war more than once, before changing again and voting against it in 2007. Confused yet? Wait, but he made good by promising to withdraw troops forthwith as President, right? At first, but that was before backing away from that promise as well.
Still with us? If you can decipher Sen. Obama’s true convictions on the War, there are some scientists at the Royal Society working on a unifying equation for string theory who could probably use your assistance — that is if Obama has any convictions at all.
Within the past year, Mr. Obama has pledged to meet personally with leaders of rogue states without preconditions in his first year as President ‘and how dare Hillary attack me for this!’; but now having privately recognized, but not publicly admitted, that this is by far the most dangerous and disastrous idea proferred from any candidate during the primary season, he is slowly backing away. Obama’s new and torturous general election logic is that he will meet with preparations, though not preconditions.
Sen. Obama’s old and torturous arrogance wrongly assumes Americans are too stupid and lazy to notice there is no difference.
Within the past eight months, he pirouetted from supporting D.C.’s local gun ban to approval of its demise.
Within the past five months, he tumbled from promising editorial boards across the country he would protect the public financing system to old style ’show me the money’ greed in opting out of it.
Within the past four months, he has spun from outrage at the FISA warantless wiretapping bill to shameless support of the same.
Within the past three months, he has skipped from being the dyed-in-the-wool, anti-NAFTA and screw the Clintons for passing it candidate to being the lukewarm kind-sorta against it maybe on full moons during leap years candidate.
Within the past month he decided he didn’t want to face Mr. McCain in town hall debates after all; I’m sure his less than stellar performances sans teleprompter and inflated crowds had nothing to do with this change of heart.
Excluding his amaranthine Iraq mutations, that’s what? One, two, three, four, five, six falsehoods and reversals just since Sen. Obama clinched the nomination.
Good Lord.
Dubya and Slick Willy at their best weren’t that good. At this rate, Obama will be impeached by convention time and re-elected by November.
Republicans, resigned to another Pres. Clinton a few months ago, must be wondering if Mr. Obama is Karl Rove’s mole, deliberately throwing victory into laps heretofore reserved for Mark Foley’s interns. GOP lawmakers are so preoccupied with laughing at Obama’s obviousness that they haven’t yet commenced with their usual Presidential election licking of the chops.
John McCain, for his part, does not appear to be amused. Always the slave to honor and self-sacrifice, he seemed determined to disappoint his party’s circling sharks, content instead to apologize for a race card he hadn’t played. PUMAs, Republicans, and his old buddy Bill Clinton worried that there was no urgency in his tepid criticisms. Did he not see that in Mr. Obama he was getting six John Kerry’s rolled into one, but with no national security credentials to boot?
But if you receive six gifts in six weeks, it must be urgent. So on Saturday night, in front donors in Kentucky, Mr. McCain finally unwrapped Mr. Obama’s presents and pulled out six pairs of flip-flops:
“This election is about trust,” he thundered, “Trust in people’s word. And unfortunately, apparently on several items, Senator Obama’s word cannot be trusted.”
Well, well, well, so the old lion can still roar. The straight-talk express is taking flight and has not yet run out of gas. “Trust.” From our frustrated private emails to Mr. McCain’s mouth. And soon — if the GOP machine still has any clue at all how to win — to the ears of undecided voters everywhere.
Mr. Obama’s disappointing and persistent inconsistency has destroyed both his own brand and the notion that this is a “change” election. Change is a stale narrative and in Obama’s case, a false one.
This election will turn on trust.
Is there a third party candidate you trust to win and to serve competently?
Do you trust Sen. McCain, who puts country before Party, who has shown bravery in risking bold bipartisan positions , and who is quickly making energy independence central to his campaign while Mr. Obama offers nothing but ‘no’ to every new idea?
Or can you trust Sen. Obama, the guy whose impatient ambition ripped our party asunder, whose voting record reveals a selfish, calculating partisanship, and who could no more disown his controversial father figure pastor than he could disown the black community — until that pastor famously called him out for being a typical politician, at which point he was disowned within twenty-four hours?
Maybe somebody should ask Rev. Wright if Mr. Obama can be trusted? After twenty years of spiritual guidance, he should know.
